Finally, a vegan Earth Day! Joy Waters reports: “A vegan Maui Earth Day? YES! Nine days ago, Event Producer Bruce asked me to take over the Food Vendor Manager role for 2022’s quickly organized festival. I said I’d make it happen on one condition: allow me to require vegan food at this year’s celebration. Let’s walk our talk and feed the people climate-smart, nourishing, compassionate grindz! And so it is! Maui Earth Day - vegan-style - for the first time in over a decade!”

Maui Earth Day will take place Sunday, May 1, 11 am - 8 pm at the Maui Tropical Plantation. $15; keiki free. More info here.
