Going Vegan: Where to Begin

By Ginger Reid

I’ve been a vegan for over two years now, but I haven’t eaten meat since I was a teenager. As a teen, I decided to eliminate meat from my diet simply because I loved animals and didn’t want to eat them anymore. All of the research supporting the environmental benefits of plant-based diets inspired me to pursue a vegan diet a few years ago. I know it’s a difficult transition for many to completely cut animal products out of their meals. This list offers practical ideas on how to adopt a more plant-based diet.

I want to make a positive impact on our beautiful world. I think we all have a part to play in saving our planet – but don’t worry, you don’t have to be a minimalist vegan like me to help the cause!

Ginger maintains the website https://ourpreciousresources.org/.  She hopes to “inspire you to make even one small change to protect the integrity of our planet. I believe we all have the power to make a difference – and if we work together, we can preserve the beauty of our planet for generations to come.”
